Privacy Policy

Effective: 22 October 2026

In short: Velty does not collect, store or share your personal data on any server. Everything Velty knows stays on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking.

Who we are

Velty is made by VELTER KZ. Contact: hello@velter.co.

What stays on your phone

To work, Velty stores the following on your device only:

your settings (pause length, pause mode, schedule, theme);
pause statistics: how many pauses you had, how many times you changed your mind or opened an app, and the optional “why” answers;
the list of apps you chose in Apple’s Screen Time picker. Apple gives Velty only anonymous tokens for these apps — Velty cannot see which apps they are or what you do in them.

This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can erase statistics in Velty → Settings → Reset statistics, or remove all data by deleting the app.

Apple features Velty uses

Screen Time (Family Controls). Used only on your device to show Apple’s pause screen over the apps you chose and to know when the time you picked is up. Velty does not receive your usage history.
Shortcuts. Your automation tells Velty which app you are opening, so it can show the pause. This stays on the device.
Live Activities. The breathing ring in the Dynamic Island during a pause.

What we don’t do

No account or sign-in.
No notifications: Velty does not send reminders, local or push.
No analytics or advertising SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
We do not sell or share data — there is nothing on our side to share.

Velty has a link to the Velter website. If you open it, that website’s own privacy policy applies.

Children

Velty does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. If Velty ever starts sending any data off the device, we will ask for your consent first.
