How do I set up the pause for an app?

Velty → Pause tab → “Set up in a minute”. It walks you through 6 steps in the iPhone Shortcuts app: an “App is opened” automation with the “Pause Velty” action. Once it works, Velty shows “It works!” the next time you open that app.

I get a “Running your automation” notification instead of the pause

Open Shortcuts → Automation → your automation → choose “Run Immediately” and turn off “Notify When Run”.

How do I undo everything?

Velty → Settings → Pause mode → Soft, and turn off the schedule. Apple’s pause screens disappear right away. To remove the breathing pause too, delete the automation in Shortcuts.

What does Velty know about me?

Only what is stored on your phone: how many pauses you had, how many times you changed your mind or opened the app. There is no account and no server — we can’t see this data.
